Descripción
Trickstuff brake discs have more material on the friction ring than is fashionable today. Because the heat that inevitably arises when braking, must be absorbed for the most part by the brake disc and from there again released into the ambient air. Due to the extra material, Trickstuff discs guarantee carefree braking even on long descents as well as during continuous braking and are the ideal complement to all current superlight brake calipers.
Trickstuff guarantees an extremely precise thickness of the discs of plus/minus one hundredth of a millimeter.
The material used is a particularly high-quality stainless steel, which is vacuum-hardened and has a hardness adapted to the area of application. This steel is used, for example, to manufacture the blades of aircraft turbines and is approximately 25% more tensile than the steel normally used for brake discs.
All this makes these stainless steel discs a very special material.
All this unfortunately makes these discs more expensive than the well-known mass-produced discs. But the investment is worth it: the discs warp significantly less when exposed to heat, are mechanically extremely stable, and have a long service life.
