Efficient shifting & powerful braking
Powerful braking meets precise shifting - the SRAM "Force AXS" shifting and braking unit is easy to operate on your gravel bike. A shifting is almost impossible with the eTap shifters. So that you can also shift on the upper handlebar or on the aerobar, one Blip per side can be connected to the shifters. This connection is made via a cable, the switching itself but still wireless.
Out of the box, the shifters are configured this way: Via the right shifter, the rear derailleur shifts into a heavier gear, via the left into a lighter one. The shifting behavior and the switch assignment, however, you can also personally adjust via the "AXS" app. You can also view your shifting behavior in the app.
The brake pads are made of an organic composite material, which is why braking - compared to metallic pads - is significantly quieter. Comparatively longer maintenance intervals allows the DOT 5.1 brake fluid in this hydraulic brake unit. The brake disc and a flat mount adapter are not included.
