Cinelli's Unicanitor was the very first saddle with an all-plastic body and no padding.
Compared to the original 1962 model, a lot has been done, of course. The ChroMo frame is lighter and stronger. In addition, the plastic has been optimized to make the saddle more comfortable and durable!
